What Makes These Handrails ADA Compliant?

Notice that there are handrails on both sides and that at the switchbacks, the rail is continuous. Also the clear space between the handrail and wall or guardrail pipe is 1 1/2", the handrail gripping surface is continuous, and the top of handrail gripping surfaces is mounted between 34 in and 38 in above ramp surfaces. On the handicap ramps, there is a guard rail, curb or wall to prevent persons from falling off the edge of the ramp surface.
